34 . Participation in Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) and Extension activities:

Dar Shanivari Vidnyan Wari : A Pilot Project of Marathi Vidnyan Parishad, Mumbai
In collaboration with Marathi Vidnyan Parishad and K.T. H. M. College, 24 students of our department participated in this project as a Vidnyan Mitra (volunteer). These volunteers are trained by scientist of BARC, Mumbai
These volunteers taught basic science concepts through experiments to the students of 12 Municipal Corporation Schools. In all 300 students of 6 th and 7th standard are benefitted. Duration of this project is from August 2016 to February 2017.
Extension Activities of students:
· Measured Carbon Foot Print of K T H M College
· Conducted survey on burning issue “Entry of Women in Shani Mandir” located at Shani Shingnapur and tried to understand opinion of society
· Carried out the project titled “Pre-opinion Poll of Municipal Corporation Elections of Nashik” and result regarding the next ruling party matched with that of actual result
· T. Y. B.Sc. students visited “Aadhar Asharam”, an orphanage in Nashik and donated Rs.1550 /-
· Studied habit of using “Use and Throw” Pens of F. Y. B. Sc. (Computer Science) students and created awareness among the students regarding generation of plastic waste
· Extension Activities of faculty:
· Prof. M.S. Bhalachandra donated Rs. 1500/- per month to college endowment fund ( till June 2015)
